How does your personal experiences influence the prayers you wrote?

By allowing us to speak from a place of authenticity and vulnerability out of life. Experiencing ups and downs and by making prayers relatable to others.
What challenges did you face while writing this book?

There were some challenges with time and family, with being able to balance everything, but the most relevant was trying to stay true to what God asked us to do.
How has your prayer life evolved since writing this book?

Being able to be in rooms with women of God, finding the Holy Spirit, coming up with the names of our prayers, confirming our scriptures, and an overall heartwarming experience for us all.
What is your favorite prayer in Son in Her Eyes?

Our favorite prayer dealt with the fact that God sees us and it's so important for people to realize that they are seen by God especially in today's society where people feel overlooked.
